Overview
The Statue of Unity is a colossal statue of an Indian Man. It is dedicated to the nation by Prime Minister Narendra Modi as a tribute to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. This is the tallest Statue in the world. In just 33 months, it was completed by a giant infrastructure company i.e., Larsen and Toubro.
Laser show at Statue of unity
The show was held every evening from 6:45 pm to 7:15 pm except Monday because the SOU is closed for maintenance.
The Statue comes alive with a mesmerizing light and sound show. Colorful laser beams light up the SOU, which itself becomes the screen on which” the story of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel unfolds.” Statue of unity laser show- the projection mapping show has been rated the number one attraction by visitors.
Statue of Unity ticket, you can view the laser show from the SOU campus, closer to the Statue, Museum, the food court, and boating complex. There are helipads around, which are closer to the parking area.
Narmada Maha-Aarti at Statue of Unity
The Kevadia Tourism circuit, which has over so many attractions along with the world’s tallest SOU, is all set to host the daily evening aartis dedicated to ‘River Narmada.’ In Kevadia in Narmada District, eight Hindu priests and seven tribal musicians perform the aarti every day.
It is likely to attract tourists, given that Narmada is considered the holiest of three important rivers of Hindu mythology. The ritualistic Narmada Aarti on the lines of the magnificent Ganga aarti performed at the ‘Dashashwamedh Ghat’ in Varanasi. Now it will be an internal part of the evening events of Narmada.
The aarti, along with the ghats, will include the tribal musicians.
‘Jai Narmada Maiya aarti ‘in Hindi and the Narmada’ shatakam’ is in Sanskrit, the tribal singers have been trained to learn the verses perfectly.

The laser show is completed after that; the Narmada Maha-Aarti is resumed. The timing of Narmada Maha-Aarti is 7:30 pm onwards so that the visitors can enjoy both the attractions of SOU.

Everything is so perfect here. The structure, the discipline, the cleanliness, the museum, the laser show, maha aarti.
The only issue- the amount of walking involved is more so can be a bit tiring for elders.
