A tour of the world’s tallest Statue in Ekta Nagar (Kevadiya) and the Statue of Unity, which is said to be a symbol of unity, will now be full of more colours like never before. For the last two years, under the inspiration and steerage of our Prime Minister Narendra Modi, we’ve grown and nourished Kesuda bushes within the neighbourhood of SOU at Ekta Nagar. Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision is that visitors from Japan arrive at the Statue of Unity and enjoy the cherry forests during the cherry blossom season.

Also, tourists can visit this and enjoy this Kesuda forest called the Flame of Forest when sixteen arts have blossomed in this season. The Department of Industry and Mines have started this adventure tour, including bus tours, nature tours, boating, and trekking.

Kesuda tour; the new visitor’s attraction on this cherry blossoms season:

There is one more center of attraction for tourists visiting Ekta Nagar and the Statue of Unity in the Narmada district. The visitors will be able to fill their minds with the color of nature by freeing themselves amid the beautiful trees of Kesuda, known as the flame of the forest.

The new attraction called Kesuda Tour has been specially prepared for visitors. There are around 65,000 kesuda trees in the area, also known as Palash, Khakhra, or Kishuka in Sanskrit. The saffron color of the flower of this tree adds to the beauty of the entire Ekta Nagar. The beauty of the kesuda tree is also very much worth seeing, especially in the spring season when a new set of flowers sits on this tree.

There are three routes for Kesuda forest:

Tourists can go by bus for a tour of the kesuda forest, after which they will have to do trekking, and on top, they will also get to taste the delicious tea of kesuda. Here the tourists can also buy products which are made from kesuda.

The authorities have developed three unique routes for this purpose. Each route is a stretch of 3-4 km; the bus will run from 7 am to 10 am and from 4 pm to 7 pm.
